what to do with old books and magazines?

Thanks. They can have them for free if they pay for shipping. Someone once said don't throw everything away because then you throw away the proof of all the double talk and scripture manipulation. I'm trying to keep one of all books.

They are within the past decade. I gave all the books from the early 1940's and so to the hall a long time ago. Should of kept, but too much space being used.

Are Parents Who Shun Their Children At Risk?

who looks after the welfare of ageing witness parents who have disfellowshipped children?

are these df'd children (actually, some of these df'd children are in their 60's) meant to ignore being ignored and then care physically for their non speaking parents?

also, can df'ing your own children lead to witness parents suffering illness or even death as a result?.

I was taught in 1994 that they needed to come to accurate knowldege. That Christ wasn't baptized as a young one, but then in Oct. 2013 at the Annual meeting they slid in how parents had been holding their children back from being baptized.

So, this is not surprising at all. They always set the stage first.

i havent posted on here for many a year, but i have become an activist this year and i need a bit of advice please.. .

a friend and i have designed some stickers and we will be attending the conventions this year, with the intention of trying to wake people up discreetly.

if i knew how to attach the word document containing our stickers i would (please feel free to email me at [email protected]).. anyhow the help i want is this.

i don't understand why so many ex jws and faders think that the jws will continue to grow and thrive as a religion.

i still attend a meeting once a week and you can smell the death of the religion creeping up when you hear the talks, read the study wts and hear the letters from the gb.

the way the organization has changed is a sign that it reached its peak (in "healthy" membership) long ago.

The more accesible the correct answers to the false knowledge is... the more it will decline.

Attendance is at record lows. The org will continue to decline. It will not be the mega society it once was before the internet blew up.

They havent a clue how to hold on to the sheep. The tighter the noose the more they buck.

Everyone is suspicious of the other person as each one turns on each other.

Restructuring the DO's to larger Regions, but still at the same size venues gives the ILLUSION of growth.

The internet has become more powerful than they ever could of imagined and in an effort to try and control everyone's thoughts they have just about missed the boat.

it was a long time coming for me.....when i read about the extened generations, after being raised on1914 being the be all end all, and millions would never die....that was the end.

i was part of the 1975 fiasco, the 6 month only truth book studies, suffered through a disifellowshipping and their version of a rewind.

i finally am free and hope others can eventually look in instead of inside looking out!

stumbleine- how I was treated at my JC meeting. I was sorry about what I had done, and yet one of the elders rubbed it in my face telling me "you trampled all over Gods feelings" and "You say you're not going to do it again? I don't know...all we have is your word".

Yep, their minds are not as clean as we once thought they were supposed to be. It's a sad day when you realize that you entrusted so much into ones you truly believed were anointed by GOD. smh

does the wts actually destroy your files if you request them to after you get df'd?

i honestly do not believe so, yet i feel as if you cannot call them on their bs if you do.

How I obtained my personal files from Bethel

it has taken me a long time, but i have finally put together an article outlining how i used the law to force bethel to send me my personal files.

in brief, in 2006 i requested that bethel send me my files on the basis that the australian privacy act 1988 entitles people to receive a copy of any information a corporation holds about them.
